Masca del Tacco was founded in 2010 by Felice Mergè and his father Armando. They bought a building in Erchie, a small town in the province of Brindisi (Puglia), and renovated it. At Masca del Tacco, tradition, identity and territory are of paramount importance, but passion, dedication and experience are also values ​​shared by the company. The winery grows local grapes and utilizes the potential of the soil, giving the wines both a modern and unique historical expression.

The grapes are harvested by hand. Matured in steel tanks and different types of wooden barrels.

The soil consists of red earth, rich in organic substances.
