Ramon Bilbao is a winery that has a long history dating back to the beginning of the last century. The Tempranillo grape forms the basis for top quality Rioja.

Crianza

The Crianza is a protected designation in Spain and the Rioja. It indicates that this Rioja has been aged for at least 12 months in wood and rested for 12 months in the bottle.

Vinification

For the Ramon Bilbao Crianza, the vineyard is picked several times. This way the grapes are picked at their optimal ripeness. This Rioja matures for 14 months in American oak. The wine then rests in the bottle for another 12 months.
