Fermentation under warm temperatures for a period of six days. This creates a good balance of the desired tannin for the structure and preserves the fruit aromas. A small percentage of Viognier is added for floral aromas and flavors. The sandy soil of Oxford Landing Estates requires careful water management to prevent drying out during the summer months. The vineyards have an irrigation and canopy system and these can be adjusted individually so that a good balance of light and shade is achieved at each location, optimizing fruit quality.

The Oxford Landing vineyard is located on the banks of the majestic Murray River in South Australia. This is named after a nearby town where an old steamboat called 'The City of Oxford' met its end. Shepherds used to graze their sheep here, but today it is home to down-to-earth people who proudly produce the quality wines enjoyed all over the world!
