Scheurebe is a white grape variety. It is a cross between a wild grape and the Riesling grape and was first named and cultivated in 1916 by the German researcher and winegrower Georg Scheu. The wine made from Scheurebe has aromas of berries and grapefruit. Sweet dessert wine is also often made from this grape. This grape is most commonly planted in Rheinhessen and Palatinate, Germany.
