Le Rose par Paul Mas
Le Rosé has a friendly light pink color, with aromas of fresh red fruit. The taste is fresh, deliciously fruity with a soft fruity aftertaste.
40% Grenache Gris, 20% Grenache Noir, 20% Pinot Gris, 10% Cinsault and 10% Caladoc. The Caladoc grape variety is a relatively unknown French grape variety, a cross between Grenache and Malbec/Cot which are mainly planted in the southern areas of the Languedoc.
After harvest, the different grape varieties are vinified separately at night with a pneumatic press, the wine then ferments for 3 weeks at a maximum of 16°C, after which it is mixed and then remains on the lees in a concrete tank for 40 days.
Delicious as an aperitif but also as an accompaniment to light dishes such as fresh salad with grilled meat, goat cheese and Pasta Carbonara.
