The color is bright, light yellow. A light pearling (petillant) in the glass. The smell and taste is fresh and fruity, not too dry. Wonderfully drinkable.
Delicious as an aperitif and with fish dishes, crustaceans and shellfish, fresh salads, tapas and pulpo. World famous in combination with grilled sardines.
The wine comes from the Vinho Verde region, in the far northwest of Portugal. The influence of the Atlantic Ocean creates wonderfully refreshing wines.
