Donnafugata Sedara

Sedara, like the names of a number of other wines from Donnafugata, is a character from the film "Il Gattopardo". She is depicted on the label with the Contessa Entellina Winery in the background.

Sedàra is a blend of mainly Nero d'Avola grapes with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. The fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged for 9 months in tanks made of cement and then in the bottle for at least 7 months.

The wine has an intense bouquet with pleasant scents of red fruits such as cherry and plum, which come alive with a hint of black pepper. In the mouth we notice the perfect harmony between smell and taste.

A real companion for a party with friends or during a barbecue. Goes wonderfully with pasta dishes, red meat and fresh tuna.
