Borges
Vinhos Borges was founded in 1884 by brothers Antonio and Francisco and quickly became one of the most important national wine companies. The winery is located in Dão, located in the center of Portugal. Dão is one of the oldest wine-growing areas in Portugal and somewhat friendlier in terms of climate and relief than the Douro. The winery only grows local grape varieties such as Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Malvasia Fina.
Vinification
Vinification under controlled temperature. Partial maturation in French and American oak and in stainless steel tanks for 6 months.
