Roero Arneis Villata Vite Colte 2024
Roero Arneis Villata Vite Colte
Pure white wine from Piedmont Italy. Fruity wine with nice juice and a long fresh aftertaste with a bitter note and an almond.
Intense, straw yellow in color with green reflections. The bouquet gives hints of exotic fruit, ripe pear, apple blossom and white plum. Roero is the name of the Roeri hills in Piedmont, the place where the grape is planted.
The main growing area for the Arneis grape is the Roero, an area of magnificent hills on the left bank of the Tanaro River. Here, chalky and pebbly soils encourage the development of perfumed, elegant wines. After gentle pressing, the must undergoes cultured yeast fermentation at 16-18°C for about 10 days. A final crucial step is a short aging in the bottle to further improve the structure of the wine and the complexity of the bouquet.
