Côtes du Rhône La Fleur Solitaire Blanc Boutinot 2023
Côtes du Rhône La Fleur Solitaire Blanc Boutinot
The smell is like spring blossom and some hints of tropical fruit, the taste is subtle, refreshing, lively and tastes like ripe fresh fruit. A quarter of the wine has been aged in wood.
Paul Boutinot has joined the illustrious company of the “Rhône Riders”. With Eric Monnin (Boutinot's French winemaker) at his side, they storm the southern villages of the Côtes du Rhône in their search for - perfect terroir and partners with flexible facilities for the vinification and maturation of the wines. The search has yielded exceptional “single village” wines and an excellent Côtes du Rhône Village. Originating from, among others, Séguret and Cairanne and parts of Roaix, St. Gervais and Sablet. Eric Monnin vinifies each parcel separately and then ages the wines in a combination of new barrels, older barrels and demi-muids (600 liters). The strict selection and pursuit of perfection results in stunningly beautiful Rhône wines, where each wine is a beautiful reflection of the terroir.
