Vigneti Zabu il Passo Nerello Mascalese

The Il Passo is bright red in color with some purple hues in the glass. In addition to full fruit, the nose shows a beautiful spiciness with a hint of balsamic vinegar. The Il Passo is rich and round on the palate. Despite the tannins present, the wine is soft and easy to drink.

The il Passo is made from Nerello Mascalese. The Nerello grapes, on the other hand, linger a little longer to increase the relative amount of sugar in the must. After about 15-20 days the Nerello grapes lose about 20% of their weight and are then harvested. The wine is aged for approximately 6 months in French and American oak.

Delicious with pasta with rich sauces, spicy meat dishes and cheese.
