The Ceschin family business is located in Veneto, in the middle of the Colli di Conegliano hillslopes. Hungry for new challenges and discoveries, Nicoletto took over the family business. He built a solid foundation for the company through his love. He passed this company on to his son Mosè and he passed it on to his son Giuseppe. He received a lot of appreciation from fellow citizens. He gave the winery the name: Bepin de Eto, Giuseppe van Nicoletto.
Since 1965, after learning the secrets of winemaking and gaining the trust of his colleagues, Ettore, Giuseppe's son, started running the family business with calm determination. He is now helped by his three daughters. Ettore named the winery Bepin de Eto, in tribute to his father, his family and his history.
Since 1996, Prosecco has been entitled to its own DOC, and since the 2009 vintage even DOCG. DOCG is one level higher than DOC. Only Prosecco from the specific DOC(G) Prosecco region, made from 100% Prosecco/glera grapes, may call itself DOC(G) or DOC(G.)-Prosecco. This way, the quality of Prosecco is guaranteed. This Bepin de Eto is really a top Prosecco. Glera is the same grape as the Prosecco grape. However, the Prosecco grape no longer exists since 2010. Since then, all Prosecco wine has been made from at least 85% Glera. The reason for this is that you cannot apply for trademark rights on grape names. This prosecco has aromas of green apple, blossom and citrus in smell and taste. Beautifully dry and exceptionally rich and refined, made by the wine company Bepindeto, a top DOCG Prosecco in a strikingly beautiful bottle. Both in content and appearance.
