Leitz Eins Zwei Zero Riesling alcohol-free
Leitz Eins Zwei Zero Riesling alcohol-free 0.0%
The Eins-Zwei-Zero Riesling (still version, there is also a sparkling) has everything a 'real' Riesling has: lime, citrus, rhubarb, a little hint of red apple and minerals in the background. Only the alcohol is missing, but cleverly enough it is hardly noticeable. The wine has a particularly clean and pure taste and a striking amount of structure and length in the aftertaste. For example, drink it with a gratinated crostini, cauliflower with goat cheese from the oven or an Asian dish with chicken and 'spicy' elements. Nice detail: a glass of Leitz Riesling contains only 31 kcal!
Basically, Leitz Eins-Zwei-Zero Riesling is a regular white wine. The alcohol is extracted by vacuum column distillation. During that process, the alcohol is extracted at a temperature of 29 degrees. Due to this low heating, virtually no flavor is lost.
Leitz's non-alcoholic wines are simply the best "oo wines" you can find today.
