Vinification
The grapes are harvested completely mechanically. Once sorted, the grapes are pressed at low pressure, so that not too much color is released. The Portillo range uses modern techniques such as cooled fermentation in large stainless steel tanks. In this way the true expression of pure fruit comes to the fore.
Origin
The vineyards of El Portillo are located in a rocky environment, at the foot of the Andes Mountains. The sunny weather during the day and the coolness at night allow the grapes to ripen optimally. The location also contributes to the freshness of the grapes.
