Primitivo Don Fernandino C. Spagnoletti Zeuli 2021
Primitivo Don Fernandino C. Spagnoletti Zeuli
Ruby red wine with garnet reflections. On the nose it is broad and intense, with hints of red fruit; ripe cherry, blackberry and plum. When tasting it, it presents itself with the same intensity: full and soft, with ripe tannins. With its persistence it is the perfect companion for roasts and stewed meats.
Don Ferdinando: Produced with grapes harvested manually in early September. Vinified and aged for at least 6 months in large barrels.
Conte Spagnoletti Zeuli: olive oil and winemakers since 1600
San Domenico and Zagaria: the two estates of Count Spagnoletti Zeuli's agricultural company, a total of 400 hectares in the Andria countryside, north of the province of Bari, of which 250 hectares are intended for the cultivation of olive trees, while the hilly foothills are intended for the terraced vineyards of Nero di Troia, Montepulciano, Aglianico and Bombino, indigenous vines in the area of Castel del Monte, the glory of local viticulture.
Sustainable agriculture - 'Sustainable'

Count Spagnoletti Zeuli's love for the country has centuries-old roots. Documents, kept in the House's centuries-old archive, date from before the 17th century. They document ownership of the land surrounding Castel del Monte, the majestic octagonal mansion that dominates the city of Andria. Castel del Monte was built in the 13th century by Frederick II of Swabia and ruled by Sebastiano Spagnoletti in the 17th century.
