Vinification

The wine is aged for 7 months in 94% French oak barrels (of which 21% new oak) to obtain hints of toast, vanilla and cedar. The other 6% is aged in American barrels, which adds richness and complexity to the wine.

Origin

The vineyards are located in several counties, the most important being Sonoma County, Monterey County and Mendocino County.
