Epicuro Epicuro Appassite Puglia
Intense, deep ruby red color. The scent of wild berries, red flowers, Mediterranean herbs, humus and eucalyptus. Very fruity in the mouth, nicely balanced and with a long aftertaste.
Drinking advice
This wine is a versatile companion. Think of light dishes with meat sauce, polenta, grilled meat and stews, but also lightly ripened cheeses go well with it.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested manually and after maceration they are briefly ripened in stainless steel tanks.
Origin
The vineyards are located in Puglia, in the heel of the Italian boot. This area is mainly known for Primitivo and Negroamaro, but there are also Montepulciano, Sangiovese and Trebbiano grapes. It is a fairly flat and fertile region where it is warm and dry throughout the year.
